Don't let your eyes deceive you. This bowl of goodness may look like ramen, but it really isn't. We were killing time before our movie starts within 2 hours, and surprisingly at loss for where to have dinner. My eyes caught sight of their sign that read "Japanese Style Spaghetti" so off we went inside.
Hokkaido Cheese Cream Soup Spaghetti with Scallop, Corn, Bacon and Potato Soup Spaghetti 395.00PHP or USD. Quite a mouthful, to pronounce and to ravish. It was hard not to fall head over heels with this bowl of awesome when every component was perfect on it's own, but cohesive as a whole. It was flavorful, creamy and definitely had a lot of action going on. I'm not sure if this was how the Japanese do it, but instead of using a fork I used chopsticks to slurp my noodles instead!
Japanese Style Yakitori and Soy-Butter Spaghetti 450.00PHP or 10.19USD. This is really meant for sharing, but one friend who-will-not-be-named thought that she could eat this in one go, and failed. The tasty yakitori toppings complemented the subtle flavors of the pasta. Add a beaming serving of sunny side up egg and some fries on the side, and you get a food party. The sides were not your usual accompaniments for pasta, but nothing too far-fetched.
I'd recommend Yomenya Goemon for those people with a serious carbs craving who are looking to appease both their budgets and their palates. At hindsight, their menu items are a bit costly, but considering the portions you would really get what you pay for and even more. Service was impeccable and they get plus points for staying open so late while we were waiting for our movie time to start. See you on my next pig out session :)
