Project Fulfillment Team Dinner at Gerry's Grill

It was not so long ago when our team made time to sit back, relax for a fleeting moment and dine together despite our hectic and crazy work schedules. When it comes to group meals that are "sulit" without sacrificing the quality and flavor profile, Gerry's Grill always comes to mind. So, there we went.

Chicken Skin 135.00PHP or 3.01USD. These suckers are the perfect appetizers. Perfectly salted and deliriously crispy, I was restraining myself from polishing off the whole plate. Oh, the things I do for decency.

Calamares 185.00PHP or 4.13USD. I always reach out for a helping of fried calamares whenever available, however it was a source of disappointment that night. I would have preferred a little more color, less breading and more flavor.

Sizzling Bangus a la Pobre 265.00PHP or 5.92USD. A bit pricey, but I remember it being wonderfully flaky and packed with flavor. I specially loved the fatty belly part, well, who doesn't?

Sizzling Pork Sisig 195.00PHP or 4.35USD. Any meal at Gerry's Grill would be incomplete without ordering a plate of sisig. It's like eating ice cream and throwing away the cone. They have perfected the way I want my sisig to be, loaded, crunchy, and addicting. The kind that can make anyone order extra rice!

Not pictured was the sinigang, which was comforting and delicious. After our appetites were satiated, and stories, surprises and revelations were shared, it was time to call it a night. Our Project Fulfillment Manager declared that this was only the start of a tradition, and I am waiting for the next time we can find the excuse and time to do this again. Until then, see you on my next pig out session :)
