After a day's worth of wandering and frolicking all over Ilocos, we finally checked into our hotel. Despite the lack of proper sleep and fatigue slowly creeping in, we had to have nourishment in order to gear up for the 2nd day's loaded itinerary. Well, that, or we were just finding an excuse to look for bagnet to compensate for it's absence in our lunch meal. You can take your pick hehe.

My friends and I strategically made the most out of the recent January long weekend, by going on an Ilocos region tour! The sights were nothing short of amazing, but I can't say the same for the long and tiresome drive going there. Luckily for us, our driver slash tour guide knows the right places where to grab hearty and certified delicious grub.

As we bid #NoDietDecember adieu, the consequences of our binge eating and cheat "month" comes crawling up our hips and thighs. It's the ugly truth, and it shows when we walk and feel our legs jiggling together or when we smile and our face transforms into a perfect full moon. It's so easy to get carried away with the convenience of fast-food since it's too accessible, sometimes cheaper and requires less effort on our part. Unhealthy eating and sedentary lifestyle can make one ugly aftermath, I tell you. That's why I'm so glad that I've found a way to watch my diet yet still enjoy my meals with @SaladMamas.
It's always good to have a back-up plan, that's what will save your ass in case you get yourself into knee-deep trouble. Okay, I feel like I'm talking about something grave here, when I'm really just talking about dinner plans! We were pressed for time, but the queue at Kettle (Plan A) was crazy, so we had to abort and deviate to Italianni's ( ad-hoc Plan B).
