It's been a while huh? Well I'm back and armed with new food adventures. This time, BF and I tried out Tokyo Tokyo Metro. Almost like Tokyo Tokyo, but not quite. I like the ambiance of the place, hip yet comfy. The furnitures blend together, and the tables aren't that cramped together.

The Sizzlin' Pepper Steak: Pork Curry Pepper Rice
Is this a sign that BF and I are becoming Sizzlin' Pepper Steak addicts? Maybe so. Went to the mall last weekend to watch Alice in Wonderland (which was somewhat a bore), and what's a little date without food tripping and pigging out right?
We both agreed to dine at Sizzlin' Pepper Steak and decided to try something new to our taste buds from their menu. We both tried their Pork Curry Pepper Rice and as for me, it didn't wowed me. The pork wasn't that tasty even though I really can't complain about the serving quantity. Eating it also made my eyes watery since the curry powder was a little bit too strong for me.
I fell in love with their Beef Pepper Rice and their Crunchy Kani Salad, but with their Pork Curry Pepper Rice? Not really, but don't let that stop you from trying it, maybe it's just my picky taste buds.

The Sizzlin' Pepper Steak: Crunchy Kani Salad
Aside from my liking for onion rings, I also crave for Kani Salad every now and then. I was able to try Sizzlin' Pepper Steak's "Crunchy Kani Salad" last weekend and I must say I'm a fan of it!
I'm glad that they didn't scrimp on the Japanese mayo, fish roe, fried crab sticks and cucumbers. I even shared this with BF.
This will be a staple in my orders every time we go back to Sizzlin' Pepper Steak, for sure. :)
