Pancake House: Caramel Banana Walnut Pancake

Don't let the fluffiness fool you because this sinks in so heavy in the tummy. I love it that I can pour the syrup to my heart's content and yet the pancake still doesn't get too painfully sweet or drenched.

Pancakes aren't really my thing for breakfast since I am one typical Filipino whose breakfast always consists of rice and viand, but hey! After knowing how heavily this fills me up and the sugar rush it gives, I can happily face pancake filled breakfasts from now on. :)

Pepper Lunch

Being a casual diner in Sizzlin' Pepper Steak, I couldn't help myself but be fascinated and curious about the competition. Specially since majority of the reviews I read favor Pepper Lunch over Sizzlin' Pepper Steak.  So one weekend my BFF Batch and I hooked up and was passing time before we watch Kick-Ass when we mutually agreed to try Pepper Lunch.

I was just supposed to buy their Beef Pepper Rice but Batch insisted that for my blog's sake I should try one of their best sellers. So I thought, why not right? I easily gave in and ordered their Beef Teriyaki Pepper Rice.  It came hot and looking so inviting that I greedily and impatiently waited for my beef to cook.

What a wonderful discovery it was. The beef had just the right kind of sweet and salty flavor. The meat was oh so juicy and felt as if it melts in my mouth, plus the teriyaki sauce that goes with it was just too perfect! Even though I kept on pouring and pouring the sauce, it wasn't overpowering the meat instead complimented it very very well.

Qoola

One might think, is this perfection or heaven on Earth? Nah, it's just Qoola's some kind of an awesome yogurt with kiwis, strawberries, almonds and cherries on top :)

My New Supermaxx 2 Columns, 3 Rows Dark Bookshelf

Since I have been growing my book collection (Not that I have many), I figured that it's time to purchase a big bookshelf to store all my treasures. One look at this Supermaxx dark bookshelf and I fell in love.

I had my bookshelf delivered home the next day, and the men who delivered it had quite a hard time bringing it up to my room on the 2nd floor, as the bookshelf was quite big and heavy.

Teriyaki Boy Part II

I find myself going back to Teriyaki Boy partly because of the cute wallpapers and decors.  I just got to love their cozy and warm environment, so you see, Part II was just bound to happen. :)

Flavours Of China

BF wanted his noodles fix sometime last week, we were too far from any Mei Lin Pot and Noodle House branches so we settled for somewhere similar. Notice the empty chairs? The crowds opted to sit on the couches instead of the regular chairs, although there really wasn't that much people inside to begin with.

"www.pigoutsessions.com" Is In Transition

Hi guys! Did you get the catch just by looking at the title? Well well! If you did, cool! It was only yesterday that I read about Golden's baptismal with a new name to her website, so the same thought kept bugging me for the whole night. I mean, why not do it too? Good thing the process was relatively lightning fast, quite affordable and easy. :)

So now, you guys can visit me on www.pigoutsessions.com, please don't get me wrong, I like Blogspot, but it feels so liberating to lose the ".blogspot" suffix. All I can say for now is to expect more frequent blogging from this girl! :)

Congo Grille

I've seen Congo Grille for a while but I hadn't given it much thought. Chum's brother and his GF on the other hand, love dining in Congo Grille. So one day we all had a short double date, since we also needed to buy some groceries for Chum's birthday a few weeks ago.

Army Navy: Chicken Quesadilla

I have been reading reviews about Army Navy and their food lately, that's why I couldn't help myself. After some time I finally got to try their food. So far I've tried their Chicken and Beef Burrito, their Double Burger and the star of this post, their Chicken Quesadilla.

Dulcinea: Cream Puffs

Cream Puffs

I think there are a lot of people who love cream puffs, but sadly, I don't share the same sentiment. I mean, they're okay. I can eat 'em from time to time when they're available, but I do know cream puffs aren't included in my "craving for the moment" list.

Dulcinea: Churros Con Chocolate

Churros Con Chocolate
Php 98.00 or $ 2.24

I've been fascinated for quite some time now on how these little devils taste. I made a mistake once by buying and taking it home, boy! the churros became soft and the chocolate froze, I could've heated the chocolate dip, but the churros' texture were already ruined. Recently though, I finally got the chance to try them out again while they were still crunchy and the chocolate dip was still hot. I initially thought that the dip was going to taste too sweet for my liking, good thing I was mistaken.
