Office Packed Lunch [Series]: Cheesy Tuna Pesto With Black Olives

Apologies for the erratic posting. I've been so negligent with trying to maintain regular blog posts lately, and it's not that I'm dead beat to do it, but because I've been favoring other activities like voracious reading and movie marathons. Baaaaaaaaaaad. Must make use of my paid domain name! :P

I've been trying out bringing my own lunch to work for 2 weeks now, primarily because I need to cut down on my spending since I can't seem to save any money [Gee, I wonder why!] hahaha. So far I've been doing good. I alternate the days when I pack sushi and when I cook pasta. It just gets hard to cook everything I want because I don't have a refrigerator in my apartment, YET.

Thank God for ready to use pasta sauces, right? I learned about this easy schmeasy recipe from the wife of my BF's brother. It's super easy that you can make this in around 30 minutes tops. All you have to do is saute garlic in olive oil with drained canned tuna, add sliced black or green olives, and Clara Ole Cheesy Pesto sauce. Additional seasoning is optional and entirely your call, it's already so flavorful as is. Lastly, mix in the cooked pasta and sprinkle with a good amount of grated cheese.

I find that it tastes a wee bit better when you let the sauce seep in the pasta for a few hours. Told you, easy schmeasy! I guess I'll be posting my packed office lunch every now and then eh? See you on my next pig out sessions. :)

Your pig out buddy,
