The Ayala Triangle Chronicles: Lunch Date at Banapple

So many restaurants, so little time. Would you believe I have never ever dined at Banapple since it started last 2007? That's why I'm happy that fast forward to 2013, I was able to finally try some of their best sellers. Better late than never! I think I overly use that saying lately :)

Banoffee Pie 105.00PHP or approx 2.43USD. My choice of dessert for the day, It was good but not life changing. Maybe it was just me but I found the sweetness of the toffee a bit cloying. If ever I order this next time, I would probably eat only half a slice and take the rest home or share it with a friend.

Lasagna Roll-Ups 195.00PHP or approx 4.51.USD. I ordered this along with the Banoffee Pie so I'd have a balanced lunch, in terms of salty and sweet contrast.  Herbed cream and Parmesan cheeses fill al dente lasagna wide strips, are rolled up, and smothered with their classic tomato meat sauce and mozzarella cheese

For the price, it's really loaded with so much ingredients! I would definitely order this again.

Chicken Breast Parmigiano 200.00PHP or 4.62USD. My friend, Yumi's order. She's currently fasting and gave up eating beef and pork so she always goes for chicken or fish based dishes. Too bad though that she didn't realize that the chicken breast fillet would be topped with meaty tomato sauce.

Good thing that she was able to scrape off the meat from the chicken and still enjoy her lunch.

Strawberry Crunch Cheesecake 110.00PHP or approx 2.54USD. If I would describe Yumi as a dessert, she would be a cheesecake! Hahaha, I know that she loves cheesecakes and is on the hunt for the best of them all.

According to her, the best she's tried so far is from the cafeteria in ADB (Asian Development Bank) in Ortigas but since she doesn't have access to buy some at present, this will have to do.

It would take awhile for me to post another Ayala Triangle restaurant post, since I work in Pasay and was only in Makati since Yumi had a meeting at our headquarters and I just tagged along. It might take some time but hey, I'll get there. See you on my next pig out session.
