Flavors of Naga: Cravings Satisfied at Okuya

I have so many backlogs and yet I'm still in my Naga series. So please bear with me since I really want to complete this series before I move on to the next events, so there's a sense of closure. :P

I do realize that Okuya or any Japanese themed restaurant can be found almost anywhere, but I can't help it that I automatically crave for sushi maybe at least once a week. Good thing Okuya just recently opened in Magsaysay Ave, my grumbling tummy was soon to be appeased.

Alaskan Maki 150.00PHP or 11.66USD. I think this was the Alaskan Maki, if not then it's the Imperial version. :P Mango, cucumber and crab stick rolled inside the Japanese rice with the nori placed inside and finally, topped with fresh salmon fillet.

Imperial Maki 155.00PHP or 12.04USD. I liked this version better, I normally favor salmon but the generous toppings of pulled apart crab meat and ebiko were absolutely a treat!

Salmon Sashimi 180.00PHP or 13.99USD. We also shared a plate of this. Come to think of it, the whole dinner was a breakthrough for Batch who has a resistance with any raw food.

Kake Age 95.00PHP or 7.38USD. Very generous portions but we found it too oily to enjoy.

I've had better quality sushi but Okuya is definitely a good option for those quick hunger pangs or darn cravings that just won't go away. See you on my next pig out session!

Your pig out buddy,
Madz
