ACS/Xerox Christmas Party at Vikings: Luxury-Buffet Restaurant MOA

My corporate career may have set a physical distance with my ACS/Cognizant officemates, but distance is irrelevant when it comes to people you keep in your heart (ang cheesy!). This is why the celebrations still continue, now which restaurant would be more apt for food loving souls to unite? Nowhere else than at Vikings, of course!

These carbs are gonna be so hard to burn but what can I do? I love my sushi! I spent a good time in their Japanese station just drooling all over the beautiful masterpieces.

Caprese Salad

Muffin thingamajigs.

I also spotted a DIY quesadilla section.

Cheese Platter, anyone?

Deviled eggs with a twist.

Colorful nachos, I drizzled mine with tomato paste, cheese, ground beef, jalapeno and sour cream!

They had an assortment of bread to choose from.

Pomelo cucumber salad for the health conscious

Pumpkin soup, I prefer mine loaded with lots of croutons

Pork BBQ from their Grilling station, there were also fried chicken, roast beef and other meaty offerings but I failed to snap a photo of everything. The place was swarming with diners.

Cold cuts

Crispy salmon skin, baby! #omnomnomnom

I also spotted bottles of sake/ rice wine

I was surprisingly rather full, so I headed to the Dessert station and was ecstatic with the Christmas themed gingerbread house displays.

A staff roams around the tables offering their wine selection

Korean Shaved Ice and Halo-Halo station

Chocolate, white chocolate and strawberry fondue station

Not that colorful but sapin-sapin still hits the spot for me.

Pichi pichi with an overload of grated cheese is love <3

I also spotted some kutsinta. These would have been a tad better with yema on top, wouldn't you agree?

I also tried a piece of cronut, and I found it too oily for my liking. Good thing they only served mini sizes of these. Not a fan, sorry.

For my last plate, I saved the best for last. I paired a scoop of mint ice cream and dark chocolate ice cream. Each bite was like a little piece of heaven, it was perfect.

Nothing but happy faces and bloated tummies after we devoured practically the whole restaurant. Vikings was so jam packed and busy that night there were a lot of food selections we weren't able to try. Next time I go back, I need to have my game plan!

I also want to take this chance to greet you a happy and blessed new year! Cheers! Until the next pig out session. :)
