Breakfast has become a fleeting luxury for me ever since my daily commuting time doubled, that's why I often go on the road with an empty stomach. Yes, I know! That's not good for my tummy and my health, so this year I promise to eat my meals on time. To kick start things, I went and pigged out at IHOP!
Spinach and Mushroom Hashbrown Stack 295.00PHP or 6.61USD. Golden hash browns topped with sauteed spinach, mushrooms, melted Provolone cheese, sliced tomato, an over medium egg, rich hollandaise sauce and sprinkled on top with green onions.
I was informed by the staff that this comes with a side of either two buttermilk pancakes, toast or seasonal mixed fruits. IHOP is definitely known for their heavenly pancakes so there was no question on which side dish I chose. Pancakes, baby! <3
Buttermilk Pancakes. This was, hands down, one of the best, fluffiest and yummiest pancakes I've had, ever! A little bit crisp around the edges and with just the right amount of sweetness that even if I drizzle load it up with a LOT of syrup, it still tasted perfect.
Syrup choices. Old Fashioned, Blueberry, Butter Pecan and Strawberry. I was a little bit adventurous so I combined old fashioned and butter pecan. Which is your favorite?
What I loved about my dining experience was how courteous and efficient their waiting staff were. I would definitely come back, not just for breakfast but even for every meal of the day. See you on my next pig out session! :)
