I always, always go for Japanese cuisine whenever I'm out. That's why when Batch and I were scouting for a restaurant to appease our grumbling tummies, I should be thankful since she half-pleaded and half-demanded that we try dining at Coca. Boy, little did I suspect that we were in for a treat!
Stir-fried beef with cashew nuts 400.00PHP or 8.95USD. What do I not love about this dish? Absolutely nothing! It's perfection! Tender, tasty beef stir-fried together with fresh, half-cooked bell peppers and topped with cashew nuts for that awesome crunch in each bite.
Trio of Jelly Fish 380.00PHP 8.50USD. It's not everyday that you get to feast on jelly fish appetizers, so we immediately agreed on ordering this. It was the perfect appetite whetter. Each pile offered a different flavor from spicy, sweet and kinilaw like.
Stir-fried Squid with Garlic and Chili 300.00PHP or 6.71USD. Not to be outdone by their stir-fried beef with cashew nuts, this dish offers a wallop! Tender squid, first fried and then sauteed in garlic and chili. I loved the tons of diced bell peppers to bits.
Coca Yang Chow Fried Rice 300.00PHP or 6.71USD. If you think yang chow rice is boring, you have got to try Coca's version. It can stand on it's own without having viands on the side.
My neutral outlook of Coca did a complete 360 flip closer to my heart. I look forward to trying their Pacific Sunset dish! See you on my next pig out session :)
