It's funny the way I often end my post, saying that "I'll definitely be back for more" which I truly meant but the truth is, with the multitudes of restaurants why repeat something you've already experienced? My life intertwined with Cafe Breton during one of the lowest points in my life back in 2012. It was where my BFF would take me to help me nurse my battered soul. Guess what? 2 years later and I still keep coming back on a regular basis.
Go Fish! 215.00PHP or 4.95USD. Smoked salmon, capers on a bed of creamy scrambled eggs and whole wheat toast. All topped with fresh cream. This open faced sandwich is just one of my go-to choices whenever I dine here. I love how generous their servings are.
Old habits die hard, so even though I don't work within the corporate buildings near SM Mall of Asia, I still go all the way to Pasay whenever I crave for their comfort food. I always sit on the same spot, armed with a good book like the common bookworm that I am. The waitstaff recognizes me by face already, it's always a nice experience to hang out there.
Breton Mozzarella Burger 235.00PHP or 5.41USD. Cafe Breton also serves pretty amazing burgers that can compete with the throngs of burger joints out there, but at a more reasonable and affordable price tag. If you're wondering where the heck the cheese is, it's just hidden within the humongous beef patty. You're welcome.
Déja Vu Crepe 228.00PHP or 5.24USD. Mango, special cream sauce, caramel syrup, vanilla ice cream and whipped cream. Any visit to Cafe Breton is incomplete if you don't order at least one of their galettes or their crepes. It's like dining in KFC without drowning your chicken in gravy, you get my point? I've tried several of their sweet and savory crepes and each one always wins a spot in my heart.
Do you find yourself going back frequently to Cafe Breton as well? What are your favorites? See you on my next pig out session!
