After our dinner in Aria Cucina Italiana, the girls and I walked along Station 2 to Station 1 in search of Zuzuni Restaurant, all for the love of their famous mati sin. We missed it on the way and had to retrace our steps. 2nd time's a charm, I'd say because we finally found what we were looking for.
Mati Sin with Vanilla Ice Cream 290.00PHP or 6.51USD. This took awhile to arrive, as they bake it by demand, but all the wait was worth every apprehensive minute. It doesn't look that much based on my photo, but once you cut through the exterior you will find the most decadent, gooey and orgasmic chocolate lava cake there just might be.
Hot and cold never felt and tasted this good as I scooped generous portions of the Valrhona lava cake and the vanilla ice cream. For a few good minutes, we were all quiet, happy and content with polishing off this piece of heaven.
Crema Catalana 290.00PHP or 6.51USD. This is Zuzuni's Spanish version of creme brulee, which was pretty good as it was though I have to admit that the mati sin was the star of the night for me. Should you ever find yourself in Boracay and craving for something sweet, head over to Zuzuni and try their mati sin. I swear that you won't regret it, you might not even share it! See you on my next pig out session.
