Tri-Mo Shawarma Co., Revisited

One Saturday night, I braved the traffic from South going North just to have another bite of this famous shawarma. What should have been an hour and a half travel time stretched into a painfully long 3-hour drive. By the time we arrived, it was late, we were tired, we were grumpy and very, very hungry. This better be worth it.

Sizzling Beef Special Shawarma with Cheese 120.00PHP or 2.70USD. Paired with hot, white rice grilled chicken isaw and cola on the side. Totally worth the hassle, if you're a loyal customer you will know why. Tri-Mo Shawarma Co.'s beef is delicately diced into teeny tiny pieces, that you won't have a hard time chewing the beef at all. They also allow you to add veggies, pita or cheese for a reasonable amount. But really, the cherry on top for me is that they're so generous with their garlic sauce and hot sauce that I can pour every drop of it on my plate. It's pretty addicting stuff, I tell you.

I've been going to this shawarma place since 2008, and have been hooked ever since. However, living in Makati has made it a bit impractical to visit this place often, but the tummy heart wants what the tummy heart wants.

The lines can get long, but the service is efficient and knows their job like the back of their hands. I'd recommend that you avoid going around dinner time, so you won't have a hard time finding a table. The place was still packed when we arrived by 9:30PM, so I used my charms or probably resting bitch face and asked this random couple if we could share the table. Worked like a charm, hahaha!

So, though I don't go back that often anymore, I'd be willing to make this an annual trip because you don't get to taste shawarma this freaking delicious that often. Their prices have increased a bit, but their serving and flavors are still spot on. Next time we go back, we'll play 500 miles a la How I Met Your Mother style. Oh, they've also opened up another branch in the Regalado area, which means that business is doing pretty sweet. Now, if only they can open one in Makati that would be both wonderful and the death of me. Not literally, of course! See you on my next pig out session!
