A Boodle Feast Fit for Kings at Blackbeard's Seafood Island

I don't particularly like getting my hands dirty, but if you invite me over for a boodle fight, I can instantly change my mind.

When in Ilocos: Hearty and Affordable Lunch at Rafael's

My friends and I strategically made the most out of the recent January long weekend, by going on an Ilocos region tour! The sights were nothing short of amazing, but I can't say the same for the long and tiresome drive going there. Luckily for us, our driver slash tour guide knows the right places where to grab hearty and certified delicious grub.

Filipino Themed Breakfast at DeParis Beach Resort, Boracay

Breakfast with a view, sandy toes, wind rendering my hair a mess, the calming sound of the waves hitting the white sand shore and sun-kissed skin. Thank God for vacation leaves! My 4-day beach trip felt felt a whirlwind affair, so pardon me if I'm going to be reliving it here.

Historic and Gastronomic Filipino Dishes Only At Dekada

"Back to you, It always comes around back to you.I tried to forget you, I tried to stay away but it's too late  Over you, I'm never over, over you.Something about you, It's just the way you move, the way you move me." - John Mayer

Such is the way I feel about Filipino cuisine, my heart may get swayed and sidetracked by Japanese, Italian and Persian delicacies. But in my heart, there is always a permanent place for everything pinoy. There was no better timing and avenue to rekindle my passion and yearning for Filipino cuisine than to have dinner at Dekada! Featuring all the staples you would see in fiestas, family reunions and get together celebrations.

Three Course Dinner at Grilla Bar and Grill

Grilla Bar and Grill recently invited me to taste their newest offerings of Filipino dishes inspired by various popular, local delicacies in our country's many provinces. I usually forego anything pinoy when dining out to break the monotony, but Grilla's latest offerings have had me hook, line and sinker.

Restaurant Review: Munchers Inc.

Chili Con Carne Rice Bowl
PHP 79.00 or $ 1.82

I was pleasantly surprised when I received a restaurant food and service review invitation a few weeks ago for Munchers Inc. So I did a little search on Google to see how many people have dined and given their reviews online. My interest got really piqued with the glowing reviews online so I said YES! We were a bit late on the day of the review, no thanks to the unpredictable traffic. Good thing that the management still waited for us. :P

Lola's Best Wasn't Good Enough

We're gonna eat at Tapa King, we're gonna eat at Tapa King, we are going to eat at Tapa King, NOT! I had been wanting to eat at Tapa King for lunch and the devs agreed with my decision to eat there, but lo and behold, on the way to Tapa King the boys entered the restaurant beside it. *facepalm moment*

We were already inside, so I thought, what the heck, I could still dine at Tapa King the next day, and made peace with the situation. :P
