Flavors of Naga: Cravings Satisfied at Okuya


I have so many backlogs and yet I'm still in my Naga series. So please bear with me since I really want to complete this series before I move on to the next events, so there's a sense of closure. :P

I do realize that Okuya or any Japanese themed restaurant can be found almost anywhere, but I can't help it that I automatically crave for sushi maybe at least once a week. Good thing Okuya just recently opened in Magsaysay Ave, my grumbling tummy was soon to be appeased.

Flavors of Naga: My First Taste of Kinalas


Before I left for Naga, I pestered asked my officemate Joey to give me the ultimate list of must-try Naga specialties. He mentioned Laing Pizza, Toasted Siopao to name a few but what caught my attention the most was Kinalas. I couldn't imagine what it was like and that made me want to try it all the more.

Batch invited me to stay in Naga City for the Peñafrancia Festival that happened earlier this September. Of course I said yes! Truth be told, I primarily came for the food!
