Alas, the delinquent blogger returns! As much as I would love to say that life got in the way, I'd rather be honest and admit that I've lost my mojo. It's times like these when I reassess my life, and try to look for a reason to pickup where I left off... long before the event invites, food and product reviews I was just an average person (I still am!) chronicling my food adventures. So, I figured that the only way to get out of my blogging funk was to go back to basics. TL;DR Lazy blogger took too long to publish post that said buffet restaurant is now closed. For real.

Home Is Where Cafe Breton Is

It's funny the way I often end my post, saying that "I'll definitely be back for more" which I truly meant but the truth is, with the multitudes of restaurants why repeat something you've already experienced? My life intertwined with Cafe Breton during one of the lowest points in my life back in 2012. It was where my BFF would take me to help me nurse my battered soul. Guess what? 2 years later and I still keep coming back on a regular basis.

Breakfast Resolutions at IHOP Restaurant

Breakfast has become a fleeting luxury for me ever since my daily commuting time doubled, that's why I often go on the road with an empty stomach. Yes, I know! That's not good for my tummy and my health, so this year I promise to eat my meals on time. To kick start things, I went and pigged out at IHOP!

ACS/Xerox Christmas Party at Vikings: Luxury-Buffet Restaurant MOA

My corporate career may have set a physical distance with my ACS/Cognizant officemates, but distance is irrelevant when it comes to people you keep in your heart (ang cheesy!). This is why the celebrations still continue, now which restaurant would be more apt for food loving souls to unite? Nowhere else than at Vikings, of course!

I have been a long time patron of Yabu, it's just that when I started dining here regularly, I was still on blogging hiatus back then, that's why I'm only getting to blog my addiction to Yabu now. I guess it's better late than never, right?

Friday Night Pig Out at Watami

 

I was supposed to be blogging about Yabu House of Katsu today, but we were just so tired and grumpy last Friday night that after being in the waiting queue for around half an hour (or more), we gave up our reservation and made a bee line to Watami because we wanted our Japanese food fix and it wouldn't hurt to try some place new (at least to us!).

T.G.I. Friday's: Great Food But Callous Service

I appreciate the way restaurants go the extra mile to make their loyal customers feel extra comfy and satisfied by checking up on them and inquiring how has the dining experience, the food preparation and all that jazz, but you see, there's a very thin line with being attentive and just plain insensitive.
