Impromptu Dinner at Ippudo Ramen

I know, I know! Ippudo has been in the Philippine scene since September, but the lines are always insanely long and my tummy just couldn't handle the ridiculous waiting time when I know I could have had dinner elsewhere, sans all that unnecessary hassle. Thank God for holiday operating hours, my office mates and I were able to walk in without the killer lines after doing overtime and several rounds of bowling.

Alqueria Restaurante Y Chocolateria: Paella Heaven

Truth be told, I am no expert in gauging a Spanish themed restaurant's authenticity. All that matters for me is that the food satisfies and delivers happy smiles all throughout the dining table. I guess it was high time to venture the mall world, and expand my horizons by going for a paella fix rather than my sushi and ramen fix. Here we go!

7th Heaven at Gelatissimo, SM Megamall

"You can't buy happiness, but you can buy dessert and that's kind of the same thing." Strenuous days seem to be a common event for me lately, and I often find myself resorting to finding comfort in sweets, which totally throws off all my attempts to eat healthier. Just when I though I've built the restraint, here comes gelato, teasing me and tempting me. Who am I to say no to this piece of heaven?

Time flew so fast that once again, rainy season is upon us. Though regardless of the weather, I always have a constant hankering for a sumptuous, nourishing and comforting bowl of ramen. As if it isn't obvious through this blog already!
