As we bid #NoDietDecember adieu, the consequences of our binge eating and cheat "month" comes crawling up our hips and thighs. It's the ugly truth, and it shows when we walk and feel our legs jiggling together or when we smile and our face transforms into a perfect full moon. It's so easy to get carried away with the convenience of fast-food since it's too accessible, sometimes cheaper and requires less effort on our part. Unhealthy eating and sedentary lifestyle can make one ugly aftermath, I tell you. That's why I'm so glad that I've found a way to watch my diet yet still enjoy my meals with @SaladMamas.

Flavors of Naga: Working Friday at The Pro Chef's Office
It was a working Friday for me but we wanted to go and pig out, plus it was kinda getting dull staying indoors like I did the day before. Good thing Batch knows about this homey, culinary cafe called The Pro Chef's Office.

Akira: The Art of Sushi and Teppanyaki (An Instant Favorite!)
I live for Japanese food, I crave for ramen, sushi, kani salad and other mouth-watering Japanese staples all the time! Luckily for me, I'm not alone. Ekai shares the same love for Japanese food that I can't help but realize that most of our pig out sessions are in Japanese restaurants. I think the the idiom "birds of the same feather, flock together" really is true.

Wednesdate at Uncle Cheffy
I've been working near SM Mall of Asia for almost 2 years now that I've seen how the corporate towers have developed over time. I've been to the Two E-Com center but never really thought of going to the 4th floor where some restaurants have been operating for several months now, last night week I'm glad I finally took the time to peek in.

The Salad Project
I have always loved eating my veggies (except bitter gourd) ever since I was a kid, and it's a good thing I still do, now that I'm an adult. Nowadays, people can easily fall and stick into the bad habit of unhealthy eating. I do know how hard it is to succumb to your hot fudge sundae craving, or your weekly milk tea fix, or a serving of those crisp golden fries or even letting your guard fall down for those sinful donuts you keep on seeing everyday on your way to work. I should know, I work near SM Mall of Asia. Imagine the temptations I fight everyday. *shudders*

A Bite Of Flavours Of The Sun At Café Mediterranean
Lately, I've been craving for meaty meals which I think is both a good and bad thing. Good because I live in the city where everything is available, and bad because~ I live in the city where everything is pricey.

Catching Up Lunch At The French Baker
Salad Starter PHP 82.00 or USD 1.89. Since the BFF is back in the city, we waste no time and do some serious catching up! I cannot stress enough that her meal is not a proper meal without her greens, so Batch settles for their Salad Starter.

BFF Date at Pizza Hut Bistro
Olive Garden Salad
Php 159.00 or $ 3.64
A day before Batch goes back to Bicol, we decided to try the controversial Pizza Hut Lechon Pizza. This was the same week that I stayed at her apartment, Batch met up with a friend of hers that morning so I just followed after a few hours. I overslept, plus the traffic was horrendous from Makati to Mandaluyong, so when we caught up with each other, I was really famished not having to eat any breakfast yet for that day.

Dinner At Don Henrico's
Summer Salad
Php 240.00 or $ 5.44
Last week, I met up and stayed at my BFF's apartment for almost a week. The first night I arrived with Joey, I was running on near empty energy because I only had brunch earlier, slept the afternoon away, met up with Joey before 7PM, commuted with my big Speedo gym bag (thanks dude for carrying it for me!), stopped by SM North to buy a wireless router for their apartment (which was really great because I only used my iPod Touch the whole stay and not bring my big HP dv5) and finally headed straight to the apartment.

A Veneto Pizzeria Ristorante
A few weeks ago, I met up with my BFF and stayed at her apartment for the weekend, we were supposed to renew our NBI Clearances come Monday morning and so we went to Makati Park Square. Having been on the run that weekend and running on not enough sleep, I was feeling really off earlier that Monday morning and begged my friend to hurry up withdrawing from her ATM. The ATM somehow sensed my ill feelings and didn't cooperate! I think I spent 15-20 minutes half standing and half trying to lean on the side of the ATM machine while my friend tried to withdraw cash.
Since I haven't tried dining in A Veneto Pizzeria Ristorante and my friend really raves about their food, so we mutually agreed to dine there. After ordering our drinks came first, mine was iced tea while my friend's choice was lemonade. After a few sips I felt really sick and like the liquid was rising up my throat, (eeew, I know, sorry for grossing anyone out), good thing I managed to reach the comfort room. After that little incident, I started feeling a wee bit better. Thank God because we had a jam-packed day ahead of us.
My friend wanted her greens and so she ordered their Chef's Salad. I tried to have some and boy, those green olives are sooo salty! The salad was average though.
